The Thief
The
Thief has all the tools to play the free safety position. Blessed with
the best eyes on the field and the ability to blast through the air and
still maintain control, he has a distinct advantage over his fellow
defensive backs on the pass. Needless to say, if he intercepts the
ball, it’s six points. As one of the defensive captains, The Thief
maintains order within the secondary.
Not fond of tackling
low—and who can blame him— The Thief sometimes gives up extra yards to
larger backs by trying to take them high.
